I can't see profile pictures at all on facebook, but only on my home computer.?

I need to know how to make it so that I can see my friends' main profile pictures when I log in to facebook and am browsing, as it is right now I only see their name hyperlink and no profile pic. If someone could post how to access the account settings or whatnot that would be very helpful.
