I do not understand the concept of free will in the Christian religion: Can they

really claim it exists? In Christianity, it is said that God gave us free will, and that we choose to come to him freely, and worship him. We are free to choose "good" or "evil" but in many Christians view it is black and white we are either on the side of god or the "devil". These same Christians who claim they believe in freedom or free will (I hear this stuff preached all the time) will insult, condemn or act hateful towards someone who chooses to believe in a different religion (outside of the Christian tradition and sometimes even beaches of Christianity that are different), especially if they choose to follow Satan, (ironically for this question the three or four people that I knew throughout my life that worshiped Satan and told me about their belief system were way kinder and nicer towards people who disagreed with them and didn't really even bring up beliefs that much unlike Christians) and claim that these people would go to hell for eternity and deal with the worst torture ever, but they say to accept this free gift and Choose god. Their whole system of belief seems more like a corrosion than free choice to me.
