i can write a script to get torrents - once downloaded - to stop uploading.
most of the torrents i download are private ones, so photo albums off of family / friends etc etc, but also the odd album, game, movie etc here and there.
but yeah, its just because i set them going overnight or when i go to work etc and i come home to find that its uploaded like a gb by the time im back and its really annoying.
so yeah, script to stop torrents once downloaded, if so any advice and help?

im pretty sure they dont have settings to turn off uploading alltogether, as i was under the impression that, to actually download something, you need to be actually uploading something at the same time, be it what youve downloaded so far, or information from your machine, i dont know, but ive never come across a torrent client with an option for disabling uploading all together.
and the other 2... not a chance
