i dropped my nokia twist, and the screen went blank?

ive had this phone for 2 months never dropped it or anythhing. then today it fell from my lap! it didnt break or shatter, just like the screen went black.i can still turn it on and stuff. can verizon give me a new one for free? cause my dad has the same phone and his would freeze and turn off by itself too, and they sent him one. mine before the screen went blank, it would turn off by itself while i was using it. do you think they can give me a new one?

verizon will only give yuh another one free if yuh have insurance
and if not yu'll have to pay 50dollarz because yuh broke it yuh kno its jst there rulez

and yup it broken mine did that too but i got a new one :)
