i get XULRunner error when i try to open firefox. is this a virus?

i have firefox 10, and it's telling me that i can only use 9.0.1. is this a virus? because i was running firefox 10 just fine earlier today, until my computer froze and i had to shut it off by the button. now firefox won't run.
