Working in retail sucks & I thought I would have a rude awakening with all the mean customers, but that's the only sane part... well the majority of them. All my coworkers & especially the ladies who work in the same department with me are so rude & bitchy. Yes, it sucks doing this & that, but being negative isn't going to help. My mother came in one day asking if I was out on the floor & she had told me later that the one of the ladies rudely yelled at her saying.. She's at lunch. I don't understand people & because I'm much younger than the rest of them, I get stuck doing their dirty work, because they don't want to do it. The managers pull me up to cashier, which I actually like & send me around the entire store doing different jobs, because the ladies in my dept. make excuses. I can't just quit, because I need money while I'm in college still.
