first off have you changed the air filter?also a car as old as yours it probably wouldnt hurt to change, plug wires, cap and rotor, next your oil control problem,does it have blue smoke coming out of the exhaust?first the cvs(crankcase ventilation system) needs checked pcv valve ect. then does itr smoke only starting up then it needs valve seals or does it smoke blue all the time then it needs rings.but just turning up the idle is the wrong answer fix the problem so it don't get worse good luck
 
As I Get Off The Gas It Dies Out.? Ive Changed Plugs And The Spark Plugs Are Getting Oil On Them Some How. Whats Causes This
