i have a 12'' db polk audio sub in my car with a mtx rt 2400 amp why doesnt it sound

it doesnt hit as hard as when i first got it

and also the fuse on my amp gets loose and the amp turns of
well from there there isnt anything wrong with it can anyone please help me??
