I have a really bad head ache on my left side of my head?

and i took Excedrin for it and that works really good but for some reason is not working for this one what could it be . could it because of stress most of the time it hurts more when i go to pick up stuff that is when i can really feel it

I have a vp shunt on the right side so could this be the shunt? or just a really bad minegran
