You have a short in your gages. Do you have the Digital Dash on that one or is it the analog gages?. They used to have problems with the Digital gage cluster they would stop working. You could also just have corrosion in your electrical connectors. On those old Japanese cars they used regular rubber instead of synthetic rubber so as it ages the rubber gasket will dry out and crack so moister and dust can get into the connector and cause corrosion.
