i have downloaded a torrent that is a rar file, how do I open it?

What programs can run .rar files and how do you use them?

download winrar and install it . once you do this the rar files will look like a tack of books with a zipper on it . right click the file then click on extract files here or to the file name.

Google "WinRar" and download it. It works like WinZip....just open the .rar in the WinRar program and it'll unlock everything.

Use winrar from rarlab.com and download it

Okay so after you download winrar for whatever system you have, open the rar file. The rar folder will contain whatever you downloaded so right click and click on "extract files to desktop" or wherever you want to put it, now you will have access to the stuff you downloaded
