...supported as mine is US version? It is highlighted in iTunes that only sim cards from approved carriers can activate the iPhone.How should I resolve this?

I was informed that i will able to see the Cydia icon on my screen after I run the jailbreak Blackra1n software but now my phone can only see the Emergency Dial Pad. Please Advise. Thanks!
