I traded in my 04 350Z for the new 370z with the same option, but never tried to use it before. Isn't there a cetain RPM I have to go by? I just don't know when to shift up or if I HAVE To shift down when in a higher gear (since the car is still automatic)

Basically just shift up at around 2500 or 3000. Don't let it rev to much. And for shifting down only shift down when engine speed is low say 1500 and is shaking the car. But saying you've got a automatic I think it'll change for you anyway, even if you do nothing. Read the manual for the car it usually has the optimum shift points and speeds.
