about Netflix streaming? I recently rented a Blue Ray player and on the back is a internet connection Cat 5. I have a cable all though im not sure if the cable is any good (kind of old), and have plugged it into my router and into the Player.

The guy who delivered the player told me there was a chance that i could stream Netflix movies onto the tv from the player. However i dont see a way to access either the internet or anything that might look like streaming via remote.

If anyone can give me advise of what to do i would apreciate it.

Someone i talked to at the store said that it mightg have to be connected directly to the computer instead.
 
I have a Netflix ready blu ray player. When it was brand new, Netflix popped up on the menu, even with no cable connected. Once I connect cable, I had to enter a code, to active Netflix, been working ever since.

So, if your not seeing Netflix on the menu, then possible player is not Netflix capable, but may stream other movie source.
 
If the Blu-ray player is older, chances are it doesn't have internet connectivity or Netflix streaming.
