I have a motorola razor, and there are two buttons by the screen I can press for either instant messaging or my camera, but i don't want it to say instant messaging. I want the button to take me to the contacts, and I don't know how to change that. If it's possible, can you tell me?

It's in your settings menu. I do not have a RazR anymore so I will wing it: Menu - Settings - Personalize - Home Keys... Now since you said that the two soft key buttons on your phone are for IM and Camera, it let's me know that you have a GSM phone (uses sim cards) which would mean that on the round directional button on the keypad, if you press down, it should go to your contacts as that is the default for that phone and all GSM phones.
