someone please explain how? I just turned 18 Sunday and got it done then...So it's a fairly new piercing. I wouldn't have got it done if i would have known it would be a problem for work...I mean it's just a part time job. It's so silly
 
you could always buy a piercing retainer, just find the right size. they're clear jewellery so you can barely notice it! =]
 
i used the fishing string when i got surgery.
its uncomfortable and very noticeable.
get a clear retainer
 
You can find clear, plastic jewelry at places like HotTopic.

If you're using fishing wire it could slip out. I have a nose piercing, and I've never tried it before, so I don't know that from experience. That's why I got clear jewelry so I know it'll stay in.
