I saw a police driving while using a handheld cell phone; is that OK?

That practice has been illegal since January 1st. for civilians I think it's dangerously distractive and unsafe. Do police enforce the same laws that they break?

No, it's not okay but cops are the biggest criminals/hypocrites in the world.

The police probably think they can do whatever they want without getting in trouble for it. It is not okay at all.

I see it all the time and hate it

also seen a cop fly past me at 90 miles per hour than

turns

around to give me a ticket BS

You should have written down the the squad car number and filed a complaint

He should not have been driving whilst using a cell phone, the law applies to him as well as us, that's why their base communications are on their shoulder so they can speak 'hands free'. It sets a really bad example.
