I took apart a handheld fan. How can i find the voltage of its motor?

get a voltmeter, attach the electrodes to the positive and negative wires of the motor. Carefully power on the fan and note the amount of volts.

If it is battery powered see how many 1.5 volt batteries it had powering it. Multiply that count by 1.5 to get total voltage.

If it plugs into a 120v line it probably needs 120V. If it is made to go into a 12v cigarette lighter then 12v must be the answer.
