Have you any acting experience? Do you have/can you afford an agent? Have you performed in regional theatre (many people get started/discovered there)? Be aware that thousands of girls go out to California with the same dream and many spend months, if not years, waitressing, etc. Depending on your locale, places such as Toronto or Vancouver (just naming those places because I am Canadian) offer opportunities as well.
Yeah, but if you get an agent and get auditions, prepare to take off your clothes for the director. Being prepared is the key. It's tough out there, and try to make friends with celebs. good luck
