...newegg.com recommended me 'CORSAIR? newegg recommended me 'CORSAIR ValueSelect 512MB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 266 (PC 2100) Laptop Memory', but other people recommended Kingston 512MB DDR SDRAM Memory Module.
I am confused, which one is compatible with my computer?
is DDR SO-DIMM and DDR SDRAM same thing?

i have a toshiba satalite laptop and it was only running on 256 i upgraded it to the max its now got 2gig 2#1GIG sticks in it and i bought CORSAIR and i have had no problems with them and i got them from SCAN INTERNATIONAL at reebock i horwich lancashire they cost my woman about 35.00 pound for both i will send you the web sight then you can look and price them up for you`r self
