id like to create personalised dvd slideshows , create themes, e.t.c...?

i have used smilebox and i think thats good but is there any other software that i could use to add music,make the photos have a novelty effect as they flip over and such things like that. i want to put photos onto a dvd and just want some other webites that are similiar.
