If Christians loves their parents or children more than Jesus do they go to hell

based on this verse? Jesus says in Mathew 10:37 "Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
He's not just saying that you should love him more, but that if you love anyone else more then you are unworthy of him, i.e. worthy of hell.
 
DON"T believe that bible nonsense! Jesus didn't write that- a primitive, superstitious, human wrote that! Jesus wasn't god!!! He was just a Jewish preacher that the Romans and the Jews both condemned to death for being a big bad trouble maker!!!
That's why church & state are separated today, to keep us away from crazy religious beliefs!!!
 
God wants your undivided attention. Your love for Christ should be above everything else. Because salvation does not belong in your mother, father, children or anyone else, if it did you would be right to love them more. The scripture is just a warning, but if you continue to disregard the word, you are condemning yourself.
 
Hell, interesting subject, some say there is, some say there ain't. If you follow the bible no one comes before the father, but that isn't Jesus dear. Ask yourself this, how was your Saviors name Jesus when the Hebrew and Greek alphabet had no letter J in it. Next Yahushua, that was your Saviors name in his own language, never told anyone to worship him he taught us to worship the father in heaven only. Yahweh comes before all else but would you be punished for it, depends on who you ask I guess. Most Christians will tell you that Yahweh did away with all the laws and you can do whatever you want as long as you call on the name of the son. Again though ask yourself this, why did the Savior make the statement that many will come to him in the end and claim to be his, claim that they have salvation through him and he will in turn tell them he knows not who they are and will close the door on them, a world with no laws, no rules, interesting, sounds like Satan's world doesn't it.
 
this verse is just saying that you should love God more than anything, even your family.
 
Read the rest of the text buddy, it clearly states if something can distract you, won't be a good follower of him you know like the kung-fu movie themes
 
It means to be a disciple you had better grow up and stop leaching off your parents, and if you are a parent then stop spoiling your kids rotten. Then you can be a disciple.
