If I buy a PS3 bluetooth headset from Hong Kong, will it work in Australia?

Yeah...a headset is a headset...it's not programmed to accept only specific headsets. Though not all headsets may work. You can buy a headset from America and have it work in China, or anywhere in the world. The PS3 headset is universal, so it will work anywhere with any PS3.
