it and play the music on it ? Well, I downloaded an album and was going to burn it onto a disk but the whole album was about twenty minutes too long for the disk. Could I just burn the songs onto a DVD disk and still be able to listen to it on a cd player or would I just have to get a larger disk capable of holding a hundred minutes of music. And where would I find a disk if that's the case?

DVDs aren't readable by CD players.

It doesn't fit on the CD because you're not compressing the files. Convert to .mp3.

Yes you can put your music on a DVD and play it in a CD player. And you can play a CD on a DVD player .. =)
