how will you accept that:
a.you will try your best to prove that your faith is the truth and he knows nothing.
b.take it easy and keep it smooth.
c.won't allow it from the start..you don't like anyone to discuss your religion with you.
d.you will try to convert him as much as you can.
e.others(and please tell what would be)

simply what your reaction will be and state your religion as well.

thanks in advance,

peace.

B. Take it easy and keep it smooth.

I dont argue with people over religion. I'll explain what Asatru/Heathenry is and leave it up to them. I dont proselytise.

b

I'd be happy to listen, just as I would hope they would be happy to listen to me explain mine.

I believe that while science is good and dandy, but there is far more to the world that science has yet to explain. I live happily with both in my life, and realise that the latter is something that cannot easily be argued. All I can do is express my experiences with it and hope the other person will be willing to come to it open-mindedly and experience it as well.

IF i did believe i wud'nt argue with ppl that don't .i'd keep it to myself and there wud be nothing to prove cause it's what i think that matters rest assured i don't believe in imaginary thijgs

or
E. (I would stand strong in my beliefs yet I would listen attentively and with an open mind, heart, and ear to the other person. I think it's interesting to learn other people's views.)

I am a Christian non-denominational.

I don't mind having a friendly discussion about religion, but if I don't think the person is capable of doing that, I will just say "My religious beliefs are personal" and change the subject.

I think C. The way I see it, it will probably just get heated and we wont change our minds anyways. Waste of time and energy.

I will answer questions in a friendly way back but wont engage in an argument...the bible says to stay away from arguments and dissensions...

I really wouldn't care, everyones entitled to their own beliefs. to try to convert them or proove your faith, thats just silly and abit obsessive.

It would have been nice if you had stated you religion.

Now to answer you question I will not do the a,b,c bit. I am a Roman Catholic and would NEVER argue my faith or anothers. I would give my opinion, which I totally believe in, however I would also respect the other persons views (not necessarily agreeing with them). At the end of the day, to me, there is only ONE God. I have many friends who have differing opinions to me and a pray that they can believe in my beliefs but as I have said I love all who can believe in a "faith". I hope my answer helps but I must reiterate I would not argue. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and every opinion is correct. Peace be with you. x

B. A calm debate would be just fine with me as long as no one got angry. Just a little discussion.

b. Take it easy and keep it smooth.

Belief is only secondary. True understanding comes from practice and is not communicable.

i would try to my best to prove my faith, but would try to keep the discussion from turning into an argument.

i would listen to what they had to say and then tell them why i believe the way i do.
