I'm babysitting my 5 year old brother and just before my parents left they locked him in his room and told him that when it was clean to tell me and I would come check. If it was clean, he could come out. If it wasn't clean he has to stay in his room. Right now he's just sitting by the door and screaming, "I want mama, I want papa, my room is clean!" but I know for a fact it isn't because I've checked at least a bazillion times! Can someone tell me what the best way to deal with a screaming 5 year old is?
P.S. He has to stay in his room until it's clean so something that follows that rule.
