I have been playing guitar for about six years, and am interested in producing some of my own music, but I am not sure what scales I should learn. As of now all i know is the pentatonic Major scale. I want to aim to write similar to boys like girls, the fray, the script, taking back sunday and that sort of thing. What scales should I use/learn?
