I'm trying to be a good christian but jealousy is destroying my walk with God?

I'm 16 and I recently became Christian. So far it's good but I have a kind of rivalry with my younger cousin. The people in my family are very competitive and compete over everything. My cousin is 14 and she is very popular. Let's call her "J" Tall, light skinned(like Beyonce's color) Dark brown eyes and a perfect hourglass figure. She's beautiful and she knows it. She looks way older then she is. The hottest guys at school like her. Grown men check her out! I'm ugly compared to her. I'm chubby and dark. Boys pay no attention to me. She's really smart and gets perfect grades. We have a little more money then her and her mom but she is daddy's little princess. Her father spoils her because he feels bad about getting a divorce.

Her mom is a good Christian woman but she doesn't know about her "J"s "double life". "J" is always sneakin around and having sex. She's slept with every hot guy at school and these dudes are like 17-19. She's always sneaking out and partying with her friends.She's only in 9th grade but everybody at school loves her. She's friends with almost everybody popular. She hates me though. She's always making cruel comments.

Please yourself and others and live a nice life. You dont' need someone to tell you to be nice to others do you?

Why do you care what she thinks?
She is she and you are you. How does her behaviour affect your relationship with God??
She sounds like a slut. Why would you be jealous of that?

Jealousy is a natural thing, as are pretty much all of the things Christianity calls "sins." Instead of wallowing in your jealousy, use it to better yourself. Use it as motivation to work harder in school and stay healthy.

Your best bet is to pray for hostility and do more than your best to apply it to your life. There is nothing I personally can do for you except for you to let out your spirit in your everyday life; what do I mean you ask? Think of your body as a cage to trap your spirit in while you're living in this realm of life, this is a physical realm in the Universe, I recommend that you truly look deep in your soul and let it out through your emotions and intelligence.

Focus on being the best you you can be and staying clear from those negative things is always cool.

Folks who mess around ALWAYS get theirs (trust me); staying out of God's way and waiting for Him to handle this kind of thing is wise.
