I'm trying to find a good first timer sports bike.?

I just got my motorcycle license and I am looking at sports bike. cruisers are out of the question. I'm 6'3 230lbs and a male. Any advice?
 
The best advice is found in the links below. And don't listen to the clown telling you to buy a GSXR.The smallest gixxer in your market is 600cc, which is not a beginner bike.
 
I am 6'3 180 and my first sports bike is a Yamaha R6. I absolutely love it. Its large enough that i dont look funny riding which you may get with the smaller bikes such as the 250. Its alot of fun and i highly recommend it.

normally i would suggest the ninja 250r but you being 6'3" 230 id say the 600 would be able to actually move you lol. my first sports bike was a ninja 250r but i was 5'7" and only weighed 130 so it took of fast any way
 
any second hand 250cc bike for the first year

look at sports bikes when you have some idea what your doing
 
check out the Suzuki GSXR Its a amazing bike, i'd much rather have a Harley but the GSXR is a good street bike
