I'm writing a novel and one of my main characters is a forensic psychologist.
The murderer is a lady killer - he beats them to death.
What's the psychology behind this?
Could it be he hates women due to a dis functional relationship with his mother, she neglected him, and he's taking it out on others.

Help?

Simply, he could be a misogynist - thinking men are superior and all. Have a look at real life examples, e.g. 'Jack the Ripper'

It could be because of bad relationships, but instead of just having a bad relationship, he could be brought up in a family where he was the only male, his mother was very rich and so she neglected him, his sister etc

Oh, sorry, forgot to say that the idea sounds interesting :)
