Imagine a world without religion what would that be like?

religion was suppose to stop people from acting like animals and killing whoever we want on sight but now man no longer kill on sight but now man can kill millions on sight with one push of a button,so have we simply become better killers now and was that because of religion?i mean religion went to other lesser known societies like in brazil south America or peru etc and tamed the indians but then the government came in took their land,gave them diseases they neber had before and they died from it ,made them none humans in their own land! so how good is religion again?this happened all over the world ,in africa,central america etc etc....
don't you think we would have found out the 'thou should not commit adultery" commandment on our own?i mean if we didn't have religion would we be able to just across to the next door and fu*k the wife and then go for a beer?come on!!
 
even without religion, people would still kill each other, whether it be over territory, money, oil. It would be no different. It would be even worse for the people who have no hope, for a lot of people their belief is there last form of hope.
 
Much more peaceful and less full of hate and wars. More people are killed in the name of god than anything.
 
i have often thought of what a world without religion would be like, but for the time being i'm just concentrating on getting that mumbo jumbo outta my schools and outta my government

start small and make the ripples :)
 
We'd probably find something else to fight about, but we might know more about science, without being afraid of persecution from the church. How many brilliant minds were wasted in the past, or too were too afraid to speak up?
 
There is allot of trouble caused around religion however it also gives people faith to do the things they want and also gives them comfort in times of need.
