...after findin hes still alive? In the Count of Monte Cristo is Mercedes still in love with the Count after she finds out he is still alive and has escaped from prison?

Yes she is still in love with Edmond...
Don't read further unless you want it spoiled...
the only reason why she married Fernand 3 months after she found out Edmond was dead was because she was pregnant with his kid, Albert.
GRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEATTTTTTTTTT book one of my favorite stories of all time.
