In "The Gods Must Be Crazy" movie is the guy making clicking sounds, or did they

just do that for humor? I know some people stereotypically imitate African language by making clicking sounds, kinda like with Chinese language saying "ching chang chung" like that's what the language sounds like. But is there some truth to this with an African language? Is there some clicking sounds incorporated in an African language?
 
No, the clicking sounds ARE in fact incorporated into an African language. I can't remember what it's called but it is the language or a least one of them of the San people,some call it the clicking language but I don't think it was fake in the movie because the main character was a real bushmen (another name for the San people). And lol no, that wasn't Swahili.
