Hi im a freshman in high school and im very interested in aviation and the air force. I have around an 86 GPA at the moment (first two marking periods) and I am in the French Club and take track, should I be taking more extracurriculars? Is there any thing else that I should start to do to get prepared for it? I received high 80s and 90s in all of my subjects but Math and French (Got Cs twice)... Will this affect my chances in to getting in if I had two classes the first two marking periods I was doing bad in? (Il be studying harder in those subjects)

Thanks,

Eric

Work harder in those classes. I'd like you to bring those Cs up to Bs.

Stay fit. If possible, become a 3-season athlete - maybe do track in spring, indoor track in winter, and cross country in fall, for example.

And in the beginning of your sophomore year, start on the Congressional Recommendation process. That can take some time, so start that early.

Do all this, you're on the right track.
