Internet help!! i want o make my linksys wirelss router stronger for my XBOX...

I got my xbox 360 in my basement and when i hooked up xbox live it was such a low signal... and even with my moms new labtop 2 rooms away it has 2/5 bars.... like wtf its 2 rooms away lol. what do i need to buy to make it stronger. i was thinking something like... for example from point A-C is there a wireless thing i can plug in to make a B?

where would i buy this, thanks
 
Well, try pointing the antennas in the general direction of the components (xBox and laptop). 1 antenna to each will work too. Otherwise, you can use tin foil and make a little reflector that u put on the router antenna. That could help direct the signal.
