Can anyone tell me if the iphone earphones will work with the ipod touch second generation?

I should have specified that what I want to know is.......will the mic work on my ipod touch?

No, there will a lot of problem if you wanna an earphone with mic for touch.

get from Apple store thats a bit expensive but its totally worth it.

I am saying on my experience with cable that i bought from ebay to watch video from my iphone it didnt work when i bought from apple store it worked like charm.
