iPod Touch won't connect to internet with linksys router?

Lately,i have been having a lot of trouble connecting to the internet on my ipod touch. I've tried everything from restoring, re-entering WEP code, renew lease, and turning wifi on and off. This just started happening and i can't figure out why. I have a WRT54GS linksys router. I have read up on the internet that i should either make it an opendns- which i'm sort of confused on how to do or change my WEP to a WPA. Please help any info would do, thanks.
Making my network open worked for a few mintues but then stopped. Thanks for the tip anyway...

ok go to local area connections(bottom left corner) and then click the tab support . after copy the ip address and go to internet explorer and paste the ip address then edit the security setting and turn them off all this should be done on the pc
