I'm think of buying a $4000 used Ford Mustang,is that alot?

It has 106,000 miles on it already,and the previous owner bought it for $5000 used with 80,000 miles on it.Everything on the car works fine,the only thing that's wrong is that the paint looks just a little worn out.

And the current car i have now is also a Mustang,and it's a 1998 model,i don't trust it too much,since it's all patched up(replaced engine,no air bag,different hood,) it was in a car wreck before we bought it so yeah.

So do you think $4000 is a lot for the 2001 used model?
