is a chevrolet camaro z28 a good car?

im 17 and im getting my first car n i want a z28. but idk if its a good car i want a 97-02 but want to know if its a good car. like if its good for maitnance ,power n if not give me ideas on which car will be good . Also people i do know how to drive im not stupid and want for street racing

Camaros and firebirds are both good cars for racing, but not really a good car for an everyday driver if you are going to make it a raceable car. My friend has a Nova that he races and he burns about 20$ in gas just driving it to work (he hardly ever does) so he mostly just uses it at the drag races. It is best to get a 4 cylinder to get around in.. a cheap honda or something. then have your car you want to race for occasional use and keep trying to upgrade the horsepower over time. just some advice
