ive asked before but will people think my car is a crapy old person kind of car or a older cool sports car. will there heads turn when they see it and will people ask me about it.
 
Considering that, like many European sports cars, it will have the electrics fail every time you go and drive it, nobody will be able to see it to turn their heads or ask questions about it.
 
There are those of us that will appreciate all the hard work and dedication to a project that it took you to accomplish the task. Many of us will have taken an easier route. Also many of us are old persons.
Yes there will be questions about it, and heads will turn.
Yes there will be rude people out there who will insult your work and choice of cars.
But isn't it a fact that you are doing this for you and not them?
If so, do it! Complete the task.
If not then find a different car to work on.
