...that isn't supercharged? I am the third owner of a '92 Bonneville SE with a first series 3.8L V6 in it. It had 157k miles when I got it. It only has 175k on it now but it hasn't been very reliable at all. I think it's just that the two previous owners didn't take proper care of it but I've replaced a coil, alternator, battery, starter, water pump, transmission lines, brake lines, and the list goes on and on. I love my Bonneville though and I'm looking at another one tomorrow. It is a 2000 SSEI with the supercharged second series 3.8L V6. It has 143k miles on it and the guy is the second owner. The guy loves the car and says nothing is wrong with it and that he hates to get rid of it but has to anyway. I figure that means it's mechanically sound and very reliable. I'm contemplating whether I should trust another Bonneville with over 140k miles enough to go through with the purchase. Can anyone give me some peace of mind and assure me from experience that the second series supercharged 3.8L V6 in a 2000 SSEI is more reliable in comparison to a first series non-supercharged 3.8L V6?
