4th rounds with a rookie salary cap? Without a cap it is not feasible to sign them all but with one it certainly changes things. 8 picks in the first four rounds! Just look at the last two drafts and imagine picking 8 of the players who were drafted that early. Consider that and the trade bait they have - what team wouldn't like all the options...I think it makes them scary long term.
Pheonix and Pats - I think that is exactly what will happen. I have been saying it since this morning when the Moss news broke - it makes perfect sense and is a brilliant move. If not that Belichick has something up his sleeve. I am not a Patriots fan but I have to admire this type of foresight and these types of shrewd moves and building young. I am glad my favorite team is in the NFC just like F-35 Nasty said...

I would worry a lot more if my team was in the AFC east, or AFC, but my team is in the NFC, so I'm not that worried.

Knowing the Patriots, they will trade at least half their picks away. You don't need to worry about much.

Patriots are building a monster behind the curtains, and people want to deny it!

@ Phoe, I heard that Jackson rumor too. I think I like it.

Not scared. I like that. I just hate losing Moss in the process. I have to get my black arm band out of storage from when the Sox traded Nomar.

They will most likely draft 6 and trade 2 of them. You are right, the Pats and BB have been preparing for this 2011 draft the last few years. Hopefully most will be used to draft some solid defensive players. A 2nd and 3rd rounder may go to Vincent Jackson.(small rumor)
