...way to way healthy and get muscles? I'm not an expert on health but here's my thought: If you eat a lot more of fat/sugar/carbs/etc., it'll be okay as long as you burn it off your body everyday with excersises and physical activity. No problem with that, right?

Correct me I'm wrong. I'm trying to gain a lot of muscle and pounds for the football team and still be healthy lol.

What you need is a balance of proteins, carbs and fats in every meal. If you want a lean and ripped body, eat fish as your source of protein. If you want big bulky muscles, eat meat and chicken. An example of a healthy meal: salmon (protein), brown rice (carbs), olive oil (fats) and salad. If you want more muscles, eat at least 6-9 SMALL meals a day. Always eat till you're almost full. Then come back 2 hours later and eat the same thing. If you work out correctly, you'll get the muscles you want by following this diet.

Fat and sugar is not good for you and it will create more fat cells, causing your muscles to be less defined. Eat complex carbs like whole wheat breads and other grains--granola bar's are a good choice, the complex carbs offer health benefits and plenty of energy for football and weight lifting.

Lots of protein is absolutely necessary, focus on fish, legumes, lean meats like chicken and turkey, and drink whey protein shakes throughout the day so you have protein with every meal.

Just make sure your workout includes both cardio and weight lifting if you want to get good results.

That is wrong. Fat is necesary, but is not recommended eating a lot of it. It is better do do a diet such as : 50% carbs, 30% protein and 20% fat. This is because fat is less nutritive and not very dense. This means that fats give you lots of calories but not so many nutrients, which is not something very healthy.
