Okay, I have been having what you say "small talk" with this guy I just met that works at a store near my house. I Ever since I saw him he melted my heart. He is gorgeous. I first walked in with my mom and he looked at me but just kept doing his work. About the third time I saw him we started talking. I asked him his name and what school he is from and what he plans to do in the future. He gave me great details in every question I asked him and quickly mentioned that he is very Christian and has a deep connection with God. He doesn't ask much about me when we are talking. His dad seems to really like me. He introduced me to him and said that I was very beautiful. Every time I go in the store I search for him but try to not make it so obvious. I am the one to go up to him and talk after we wave hi to each other from across the store. Our conversations are usually about school, church, and work. I don't even know if he has a girlfriend and I wouldn't dare to ask because I don't want to make it so obvious that I like him. Just yesterday we went in the store again to buy a pole for the backyard that had broken at home and to check the water level. I'm the first to walk in with my little sister and I quickly spot him though he is turned around and very likely did not see me. I walk and look towards another direction noticing from the corner of my eye that he saw me but quickly looked away and walked away. I see his dad and he waves a friendly hello. He heads over to the register and I "look around" at the merchandise. My mom walks in and at that moment without my mom noticing him he waves and says hello to her. My mom and I walk over to the poles and needed help in picking out the right one. We are looking around and my mom sees him doing nothing in the middle of the hall taking small glimpse towards our direction. One of the employees comes over to us and asks if we needed help. He then noticed that my mom doesn't speak much english and tells us that he is going to get the boss (which is his the guys dad) to come help because he speaks spanish. Well as we are waiting to get helped, I see an elderly couple needing help in carrying some merchandise. I then quickly see him (his name is Angelo) rush over to the elderly couple which are right next to me and says loudly to not worry that he will get it. I look at him and he still doesn't even look at me. I keep staring until he turns around and I say "hey"; he then smiles and says "hey, how have you been?". I say "good, you?"... he keeps walking and yells out "GREAT". I'm like um mm ok. Then his dad appears and greets us with a happy and warm welcome. He then compliments my hair and asks if I did anything new and that it looks really good on me. Yet he says all of these practically yelling. Angelo is standing almost behind me looking around according to my mom. Then his dad just leaves without asking if we wanted help. I then go get something in the car and when I come back he's talking with my mom. He helps us with what we wanted and I hand him the water sample. He takes the pole and the water sample and nearly trips right in front of me but doesn't even look up, he just keeps walking as if nothing happened. I walk with him to the water station and he starts mixing the chemicals together. We start having small talk again maintain a strong eye contact that at times seems too long or out of the ordinary. When the results are in and we are about to leave I ask my mom where the pole is. At that moment that my mom and I are discussing about the whole pole situation he is staring as if in space while leaning on the counter towards our direction. I tell him that he took the pole and he put it inside where he is at and he snaps out of it and says OH and hands it to me. Also my sister made a weird animal sound and he did as well I smiled and looked at him and he was smiling and looking down... he never looked up at me. We where leaving and my sister points out at some toy and i laugh and he does as well still looking.
Does he like me? Is he shy? or is he just being polite?... I really don't want to ask him any questions that would make it seem obvious that I like him. If he really likes me I don't want to mess anything up. I really want to take things slow. I just really want to know if he likes me. Please Please Please help me... What do you think????
I'm 17 and so is he... we are both graduating in a few weeks from different highschools and I only see him at the store... which is like once a week
Does he like me? Is he shy? or is he just being polite?... I really don't want to ask him any questions that would make it seem obvious that I like him. If he really likes me I don't want to mess anything up. I really want to take things slow. I just really want to know if he likes me. Please Please Please help me... What do you think????
