My speakers are blown out on my 92 corolla and I would really like to get some new cheap speakers set in. I'm not worried about looks so much because my car is rusty, dented, chipped, and scratched so if something doesn't look great I don't care.
Right now the speakers are set up behind a metal grate behind the dash. They are a pain in the ass to get at. I was thinking about using my metal grinder to basically just cut them out from the front. They are 4 inch speakers and my plan was to mount 5 3/4 speakers on the outside of the dash to cover up the hole. Then I'd probably just use body puddy or something to fill in the cracks and sand it out. What do you think?
