I wouldn't suggest doing exercise the day before the hike, you dont want to be sore or tight on the trail. You should have done the exercise the week before, you could have done hikes leading up to this one. I would just relax the night before eat some pasta for dinner to get the carbs you`ll need and stretch before you get on the trail, especially if your off to an early hike.
