I took one of her babies to the vet this morning and he gave us all kinds of medications, including 2 for diarrhea.. We gave the recommended dosage for the mama to her, and now, 2 1/2 hours later she still has diarrhea - like every 5 minutes or so.. The vet is closed today - he made a special point to be there just to see our baby kitty.. The baby is still very sick, and the mother seems to be all right only she has MAJOR diarrhea.. How long does it take for the medications to work?..
Also!!! This is bad! - the baby just pooped out a long stringy white worm.. she had worming meds also, I don't know if that's why, if it's because they are just leaving her system, but I thought the kind of worms we DON'T have to worry about are the kind that are small rice shaped worms.. So now, I don't know if there is seriously something wrong with them!!!.. We just spent the LAST of our money at the vet, so I don't know how we can go again, especially today since they are closed..
What can we do?.. Is there anything to do? HELP!!!
