Is it normal for guinea pigs to get excited over everything?

I have 2 female guinea pigs that are around 2 months old and they get excited over everything, and i mean EVERYTHING. They are constantly doing "popcorning". They start to do popcorning over the littlest things, like getting their dinner, when they have fresh new hay, when they get their favourite pillow washed and put back in there cage, or as soon as a pet one of them they start jumping around and doing popcorns and purring. It seems like they never stop.

I have a very close bond with both of them, i love them very much and they love me too, they love coming out for cuddles and love cuddling up under my chin & purring when i am watching tv.

Is it normal for they to be so excited all the time?

Is there something that can cause them to be very hiper? Or are they just very happy pigs?
(P.S) I dont give them alot of high sugar veggies & fruit.

Is it got to do with them being young? Will they settle down as they get older?

Anyway just thought i would ask..

guinea pigs are usually very excited over everything when they are young like yours, this will most likely decrease a little bit when they get older though. It just shows that their happy to see you and happy to get new food, its a sign that they are very healthy and active. best of luck to you and your pigs! ^-^
