Actually, I had a total of 5 different procedures done in one morning, (last Tuesday, beginning about 10:30 am) and am in a HECK of a lot of pain because of it. I cannot take a hot bath, which I normally rely upon for pains of this nature. Short of Morphine and other drastic analgesic pharmaceutical remedies, what are any other non-addictive ways to relieve pain? Heating pad? Pressure? Anything?
I sure wish they would have told me before surgery that I am not allowed to drive for 10 days, but as you may know, those of us under Government allotment of Medical services to Single Mothers can hardly afford to ask discomfiting questions.
Is that normal? Does anyone have any rational, inexpensive remedies that I might try?
I'm not normally a "crybaby", but THIS HURTS BADLY!
