is it normal to add people from school to facebook that you know them by name but...

...dont talk to.? is this how people get like 1000+ friends? i was having a conversation with my cousins and they say they do that, and its normal... is it?
what is you guys point of view?

If I didnt do that then I would only have family and a few friends! I'm a quiet person so not a lot of people talk to me. .

It really doesn't matter. Facebook is just a social network that started out as a way for college kids to escape reality and has become the biggest trend lately. A lot of people do that these days, even I used to do that. It never occured to me as strange or anything.

Yes sir I think so...I really doubt that anyone who has more than 100 friends knows all of them personally...I don't even think I've ever met half the people who've added me
